OK, so this is just a preview of what's to come. Sort of a test blog if you will.

It's Sept. 20, 2008. and at 9AM, my buddy Al and I met up to ride to Port Clinton to the BMW dealer. About a 2 hour ride and only 50-60 miles away. We made it up to the Beamer dealership and saw some amazing BMW's and Triumph motorbikes. here are a few pictures to go along with it. This one to the left is our first stop, somewhere about 30 miles out west Rte 73. Just for a piss break and to check the GPS to make sure we were on the right track. The close one is my silver Honda Shadow VLX, the farther one is Al's new Harley. Very nice!



Fueling up at Wawa. Ok....for all you NON-east coast PA/NJ people. WAWA is just THE best place for food/fuel, etc. Yes, we know wawa sounds ridiculous but We've grown up with it here, and the rest of the world, yer all just missin out ;)

Once we got to the BMW dealership, we were told about a husband and wife team from the UK who have traveled around the world since 2003 on their own BMW GS bikes. This is a picture of their map and the routes they have gone.

OK, so on Oct 11th, we went BACK to the BMW dealer 3 weeks later for their open house, and took some more pics.

This is Lake Ontelaunee. It's ok, We've never heard of it before either.

But apparently it holds 38 billion gallons of water. WHO KNEW!!

It really is a pretty massive and cool lake. I wanted to take a better picture from the bridge we went over, but didn't think it was either safe nor worth blocking up traffic for.

The BMW open house was pretty cool. Tons of bikers and bikes everywhere. Lots of free food too. (Al loved that part)

Would still love to get one of these bikes. Only time will tell.


and yes..that BMW 1200 GS actually has a cup holder...too funny.

After the BMW open house, we rode a few more miles into the Mountains to the Harley Dealer. They were having an open house too apparently. Except No free food this time. Bastards!

So, now we got to see tons MORE bikes and gear.
